Is Splibble free?
Yes. Splibble is completely free to download and use to split a bill with your group.
Does Splibble take payments or process money?
No. Splibble is a tallying and tracking tool, not a payment processor. It works out everyone's share and shows who has marked themselves paid. You pay however you normally would — cash, card or EFT — then mark yourself as paid in the app.
Do I need to download the app to join a split?
Anyone can join a split from a shared QR code or link, so the whole table can get onto the same bill quickly.
How does Splibble split the bill?
Scan the bill once and Splibble digitises every line item. Everyone then claims the items they had. Shared items are split evenly between the people who claim them, and each person's total is calculated automatically.
Can we split a shared plate or bottle of wine?
Yes. Tap to claim a shared item and it splits evenly between everyone who claims it.
How do tips work?
Each person adds their own tip to their share, and everyone can see whether a tip has been included.
What if someone doesn't pay their share?
Everyone can see exactly who has and hasn't marked themselves as paid, so nothing slips through and there's no need to chase anyone afterwards.
Which devices does Splibble support?
Splibble is available on iOS and Android, and people can join a shared split from a link in their browser.
